Chimney Sweeping, Done Properly, Since 2020
I'm Matt. I've been sweeping chimneys across Stirling and Central Scotland since 2020, Guild-certified, over 1,000 sweeps done. A thorough job, honest advice, and nothing left for you to clean up.

Our Service
Professional Chimney Sweep Service
I sweep the whole flue, top to bottom, not just what's easy to reach. Open fires, wood burners, multi-fuel stoves, solid fuel boilers: the full run of liner or brickwork gets covered, every time.
Before I brush anything, I connect a HEPA-filtered vacuum, so there's no soot cloud, no mess on your hearth, and nothing lingering after I've gone. Drop sheets protect the room the whole time I'm working. Most sweeps take 45 minutes to an hour and a half.
At the end of every visit I run a smoke draw test and hand you your sweep certificate there and then. That's the document your insurer will ask for, so you're not chasing paperwork later.

What Our Customers Say
"Matt was very professional and clearly very skilled as a sweep. His manner is friendly and respectful. Our chimney was swept efficiently with no disruption to furnishings. Fitting the cowl was not straightforward as our roof is very steeply pitched — undeterred, Matt devised a suitable strategy. Excellent value for money."
"I chose Burnbright Chimney Sweeps to sweep and check my chimney and what a wonderful job. Matt is very professional, clean, tidy, efficient and knowledgeable as well as being so friendly. Job all certified and details of work carried out. Fully recommend and will book again for next year!"
"Recently moved to a new house with two stoves so booked Matt to sweep the flues for peace of mind. He did a great job, very efficient, no mess; no fuss. He gave some advice on best practice when using the stoves, and even cleaned the glass on the doors so we can now see the fire! Would definitely recommend."
